Our Craft club members will have a great time and benefit from some superb advantages. Our aim for the club is to bring like minded people together helping them enjoy all sorts of crafting. We will also aim to introduce them to lots of different crafts or hobbies. We would like members to have their say about what we do and as such will look for a lot of input so we can keep things fresh and new. As this is a completely new idea I’m sure it will grow and change into something very special. It’s the ideal time to join as its the start of something great and not many of us get the chance to be there at the start of something great.

SWAP SHOP - You can bring craft supplies and swap with other crafters.

ASK THE EXPERT - A panel of Demonstrators will be here to answer questions on any crafting queries.

CRAFTY QUIZ NIGHTS - The prizes will all be crafty!

CARD MAKING COMPETITIONS - Judged on the night by a panel of experts.

EXPERT TALKS - We will have guest speakers talking about many interesting subjects such as Photography, Painting and many other subjects.

WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS! -We’ve all bought a crafty little thing then got home and thought what do I do, how can I use this, bring these along on the open night and we can all work it out.

There will be lots of new events added as we develop what will be a great club.

Here you will find our itinerary for the first five months in 2009. We have outlined the core range of events but as we are still finalising our demonstrators, experts and guest speakers. We plan to cover a wide range of subjects and they will not all be on paper products. If you have a particular interest or hobby and would like us to include a talk or class on that subject then please let us know.

We are also planning various craft classes but at this stage we have only shown our Parchment Craft Class and Handmade Boxes and Bags Class. These classes will be open to everyone but club members will get the first chance of booking them. There will limited places per class. We will add in new classes as we go through 2009. We want to make these as much fun as possible and provide what our members want. On the back page you will find a list of hobbies or crafts that you can tell us you are interested in.

This is a new venture for us and we are very excited about it. We would love for you to get involved. What we have outlined over these two pages is only the start of something very special. It’s not often that you get the opportunity to be there at the start of something Great!

Thursday 5th February 2009 - Swap Shop - This will be a great members event where you can dig out all the products you have bought and not used, bring it along and sell or swap it on. You can even produce toppers from the craft machinery you have then sell or swap them for some you don’t have. Exchange craft tools, punches, stamps, dies, stamped images and products. If you think there is something we have missed then let us know and we’ll add it to the list. Members Only Event. Entrance fee £3.00- From 6-9pm

Our Shop, Office and Factory is closed for the Christmas shutdown, but will re-open on the 5th January 2009. You can join the Club from that date if you haven’t already done so.

Hi Folks, please remember we are having a celebration with mulled wine and refreshments, mince pies and shortbread for all of our shop customers on Saturday 20th December 2008. This is by way of a thank you, for your support throughout the year, look forward to seeing you all there. Normal Shop hours are 10-5pm

Also or SATURDAY SHOWCASE will be carried out by Nikki Smith, an extremely talented and experienced demonstrator and crafter. Nikki will demostrate the Eazi-Box Board, showing us how to make various shaped boxes and unusual shaped cards, using this really useful board.

Please also remember the shop closes on Tuesday 23rd December 2008 and re-opens Monday 5th January 2009.

Knitted jewellery. So how does that work I here you ask. Well I’m not so sure myself but come along on Saturday and Rosemary will show you all the tricks of the trade. She has some great looking pieces that you can buy. Rosemary is also a card maker and makes stained glass items as well.

So lots to see !

On Saturday  the 6th of December we have 4 craft demos throughout the day but they are all fully booked so unless you have a ticket you will not get to see them. This only tells you that you should book early for the new year ones. We have now released a list of all our coming events in the shop so if your passing pop in to pick up a copy. 

Our shop is still open on Saturday so you can get all your last minute paper craft products. In store we will also have hand made jewellery which is great if your looking for a special one off gift. All items are truly individual. We also have an exhibition of wildlife pictures by photographer Eric Macabe you should see them they are stunning.
