This is the final message of the year but don’t worry we will be back on the 5th of January 2010 to keep you update weekly with what is going on at Southfield. Are last day open this year is 23rd December so if you have any last minute crafting items you need then you better hurry!!! We also have 25% off ALL Christmas stock so why not start stocking up for next year so you are ahead of the game!

This week at Southfield we have our re-scheduled Altered art workshop with Marita Soutar,11-2pm, there are still a couple of spaces left so if you are interested please phone the shop on 0131 654 4300 and we will get you booked in. Also it is our FINAL drop-in of the year on Thursday evening 6-9pm so don’t miss out on a last night of crafting fun with the other.

AND FINALLY on SATURDAY 19th December is our CHRISTMAS PARTY which is on all day and ALL are welcome! There are two demonstrations on with Jeanette the first is at 10.45am for 45mins then one in the afternoon at 14.30 again for 45mins. In between 12 - 2pm there is also a workshop on Rubber Stamping so if you are interested in any of these again please phone the shop to book.

There will be mince pies, mulled wine and lots of festive fun including a discount if you turn up wearing something Christmasy e.g a christmas hat etc. and other bits of bargains on the day as well so hope to see you there. If not we would like to wish you

This week we have our usual Tuesday afternoon drop in session all new comers are very welcome to come along and craft or just watch the others and pick up new ideas or share ideas of there own.

We also have a scrap-booking workshop on Thursday 10th Dec 10am-1pm giving you advice and showing techniques used when making up scrap-booking pages.

Then on Saturday we have the second of our children’s Christmas workshops making an amazing quiz-mas tree were the children will make an A4 size tree which will, as if by magic, light up if the questions you are asked are answered correctly!! How does it work?? Only one way to find out!!

And also on Saturday 12th is our last SATURDAY drop-in session, we still have one more Thursday evening to go but this will be the last Saturday one of this year so if you get the chance pop along and have a bit of crafting fun.

And finally we would like some feed back if you have the time on what kind of workshops you would like to see next year and what times people would like them to be on i.e morning, afternoon or evening.
